Knowledge Takers

To all my influencers and visionaries: When you are a powerful personality people will flock to you, but beware their intentions. Just because you are loving doesn’t mean everyone else is and sometimes we have to learn to turn away people who are not ready for the knowledge we can share with them. This poem is about the people in our circles who pretend to love us, who secretly conspire against us. These people are almost always those closest and the blind sighting can be shocking. Know that they are only hurting themselves and that evil behaviour is really just the lack of Love.

KNOWLEDGE TAKERS

Energy drainers

Knowledge takers

Manipulators

Liars. Cowards. Fakers.

Heart breakers

Classic haters

Naysayers

Drama creators

Imitators

Jesus and Judas, Ceaser and Brutus

Backstabbers do this

Tale as old as time

The suffering of the benign

The sublime

The ones who shine

Too bright for the broken

Keep your friends close but your enemies closer

The ones who seem kosher and always have calm composure

Always saying what you want to hear but secretly fear your very success

They completely obsessed

With your essence

Can’t stand your mere presence

Jealous as sin going out their way to block your win-

But they just block their own blessings while you come up off the lessons cuz they

can’t stop God’s shine not matter how hard they try…

Jealousy – that jumble of secret worship and ostensible aversion. (Emile M. Cioran)

The thermometer of success is merely the jealousy of the malcontents. (Salvador Dali)

To cure jealousy is to see it for what it is, a dissatisfaction with self. (Joan Didion)
